Position Overview (Full-time, permanent)

As our Digital Service Advisor you’ll provide timely service to Zipsure client groups and customers, responding to service, policy and technology inquiries. You are the first point of contact for our customers and will primarily engage by way of email and telephone.

Our ideal candidate is looking for a change in their insurance career. As an experienced, licensed Insurance agent, you have an ability to service a high number of customer inquiries within short timelines. You are an exceptional, top performing individual with a core value of customer excellence.

Our successful candidate will be a quick learner and have a desire to establish a very rewarding career with unlimited potential. You hold an insurance license, willing to obtain national licensing, continue professional development.

Role Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in an Insurance customer service role, required.
  • A minimum of two years Personal Lines Property and Casualty insurance experience, required.
  • Hold a provincial general insurance license and prepared to obtain other provincial licenses within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Experience with Notice of Loss claims procedures

Skills and Competencies

The candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proficient us of one or more insurance broker management systems
  • Strong MS Word, Excel skills.
  • Professional, business level English grammar skill set (both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual in French, preferred.
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Ability to focus on results
  • Uses sound judgement and & timely decision making skills
  • Excellent time Management & organizational Skills
  • Sound problem Solving Skills
  • Proven Negotiating Skills

Working Environment

Office environment with some travel and expectation to participate in relevant industry functions and community events. Flexible Hours required. Monday- Friday
